Accsoon CineView 2 SDI – Wireless Video Transmitter WIT08-S

Accsoon Cineview 2 SDI WIT08-S a newly launched wireless Video Transmitter offers incredible 1500ft of range of Full HD (1080p) transmission (Line of Sight) with the low latency of <50ms. This is a drastic improvement as compared to it’s predecessor Cineview SE which offered only 1200ft of range. Accsoon Cineview 2 SDI is equipped with HD-SDI, HDMI inputs/outputs and HDMI Loop Out.

Design and Built Quality of Accsoon CineView 2 SDI WIT08-S

Sporting a unique and revamped design along with a quad antenna setup, the CineView 2 SDI boasts enhanced transmission and reception capabilities. Both the transmitter and receiver tip the scales at 200g / 7.05 oz each.

Crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, the CineView 2 SDI stands out for its sleeker profile compared to its predecessors. Moreover, its fanless design ensures silent operation. Additionally, the device is equipped with a vibrant full-color display.

The CineView 2 SDI TX  WIT08-S-TX comes with an HD-SDI input, as well as HDMI input and loop-through output. It has the capability to transmit video signals up to 1080p/60. On the other hand, the RX unit offers both HD-SDI and HDMI Full HD outputs. This functionality proves to be advantageous as it enables the wireless connection of an SDI signal from a camera to a HDMI monitor or switcher, or vice versa, a HDMI camera to a SDI monitor or switcher.

CineView 2 SDI TX has 4K loop through

Moreover, the new CineView TX WIT08-S-TX  Wireless Video Transmitter unit features a 4K 60P HDMI input and loop-through output. This proves to be beneficial as it allows the camera to be configured to output 4K over HDMI, with the signal then looped through the transmitter to other 4K devices such as monitors and switchers.

Additionally, this new CineView RX  WIT08-S- RX unit is equipped with a USB type C UVC output. This facilitates direct connection to a computer or other compatible device, enabling the video to be input directly to live-streaming software like OBS Studio with the WIT08-S-RX.

Dual Band Transmission Technology

The CineView 2 SDI employs Accsoon’s cutting-edge Dual-Band transmission technology, a US-patented innovation. This advanced technology simultaneously transmits two sets of Full HD video signals on separate frequencies from the transmitter (TX). Subsequently, the receiver (RX) WIT08-S-RX  unit intelligently merges these signals into a unified final image. This method is purportedly more inherently stable compared to less efficient wireless systems that merely switch frequencies.

The CineView 2 SDI  Wireless Video Transmitter maintains compatibility with existing CineView SE, HE, and Quad models, enabling users to seamlessly integrate them as needed. With each CineView 2 SDI TX unit, users can transmit to a maximum of four CineView 2 SDI or original CineView RX units in any desired configuration.

Additionally, each CineView 2 SDI TX WIT08-S-TX unit offers the capability to transmit video directly to iOS and Android devices utilizing the Accsoon SEE app. This simultaneous transmission is compatible with a combination of smart devices and RX  WIT08-S-RXunits, totaling up to four devices.

Power and Battery Solutions

The all new CineView offers versatile power options to suit various setups. Equipped with an integrated battery plate, both the TX and RX units are compatible with NP-F type batteries, ensuring extended operational times with minimal power consumption. Additionally, they boast DC barrel (7.4~16.8V) and USB-C PD power inputs, making them suitable for rig attachment and power sourcing from V-lock batteries or power banks. Seamless switching between these power sources allows for uninterrupted operation during extended shooting sessions.

Accsoon See App Compatibility and Functionality

The Accsoon SEE app presents users with a touch interface and a comprehensive selection of video monitoring tools. Through simple taps on the screen, you can assess focus, apply LUTs, access waveforms or zebras, de-squeeze anamorphic video, display grids, and monitor audio levels. Additionally, users have the capability to record and stream content directly from the app. Similar to its predecessor, it enables HD video recording transmitted from the new CineView to your mobile device for immediate review and social media sharing, as well as streaming via RTMP to various popular video sharing platforms.
