Godox has introduced the KNOWLED M300R a new RGBWW LED light

Godox, a prominent Chinese manufacturer of LED lighting, camera flashes, monitors, accessories, and audio gear, has expanded its KNOWLED lineup with the release of the M300R. This RGBWW LED fixture is designed for film and broadcast applications, offering a mid-range solution with comprehensive color capabilities.

The M300R delivers an impressive 101,000 lux at a distance of 1 meter when used with its included 30° reflector. It supports a wide CCT range from 1,800K to 10,000K and features full-spectrum HSI color control.

According to Godox, individual RGB channel outputs measured at a distance of 1 meter without any modifiers are as follows:

  • Red: 3,450 lux
  • Green: 7,270 lux
  • Blue: 2,070 lux

The fixture boasts a color accuracy rating of 95+ for both CRI and TLCI. It supports ±100% green/magenta shift adjustment and offers dimming down to as low as 0.1%. Available color modes include CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, X-Y, and FX.

Build and Power

The light head weighs 3.6 kg without the yoke and comes with an IP54 rating, providing protection against dust and water. It can be powered either via standard AC mains or a V-mount battery.

Control Options

The M300R supports various control methods, including onboard controls, CRMX wireless, wired DMX, Bluetooth through the KNOWLED app, and Ethernet. It features a Bowens mount, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of lighting modifiers.

Pricing and Availability

Godox hasn’t confirmed an official release date for the M300R yet, but pricing is set at $1,529 for the standalone light and $1,599 for the K1 kit.
A wide selection of Godox accessories is available, including a softbox, Pro Beauty Dish, projection lens, and BeamLight Reflector, with more accessories expected to launch soon.

The M300R is also designed to integrate seamlessly into Godox’s existing KNOWLED ecosystem, working alongside fixtures like the MG1200Bi/R, MG2400Bi/R, and MG6K.
